With the Federal Government’s new workplace relations legislation due to commence within a matter of weeks, employers in the Illawarra are urged to attend a free ‘Understanding WorkChoices’ seminar, presented by the Illawarra Business Chamber.

“Attendees will benefit from an overview of what the new WorkChoices system will look like, how WorkChoices will impact their business and what changes may be required to comply with the new laws,” said Mark Grimson, Illawarra Business Chamber CEO.

“With the business community facing the most extensive workplace reforms in 100 years, it is vital for employers in the Illawarra to be fully aware of the impact of WorkChoices upon their business.

  • Status of Federal Awards and other agreements
  • New Exemptions for Unfair Dismissal
