2 Weeks to go to Enter this Year's Awards

Businesses across the Illawarra were today reminded they have just over two weeks left to get their entries in for this year�s Integral Energy Illawarra Business Awards.

Illawarra Business Chamber President, Terry Wetherall said he was hopeful that a record number of businesses would enter this year�s Awards from across the five Illawarra Local Government Areas.

Mr Wetherall said �We are particularly keen to encourage more entries from the outlying areas of the region including the Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands given the diversity of their respective local economies.�

�Interest in this year�s Business Awards has been excellent so far, with around one hundred people in attendance at last month�s launch.�

At this year�s event, businesses will again vie for a total of 18 awards with winners of the industry categories also having a chance to take out the prestigious Integral Energy Illawarra Business of the Year Award. The Awards Ceremony is to be held at the WIN Sports & Entertainment Centres in Wollongong on Friday, 16th November.

Entering is easy, simply provide an overview of your business and how it meets the assessment criteria in no more than 5 pages. Judging will consist of the written entry and submission, supported by a formal presentation for finalists and, in some instances, on-site inspections if required.

Entries close at 5:00pm Monday, 10th September, and winners will be announced at the Awards Gala Dinner on Friday, 16th November at the WIN Sports and Entertainment Centres.
