The 2009 Integral Energy Illawarra Business Awards will again turn the spotlight on the Illawarra business community and celebrate the achievements and diversity of the region's business community.

The Awards congratulate and support the many success stories that make up our local business community. They acknowledge and promote the importance of local business to the future growth and development of the Illawarra, articulate the key drivers of growth for the region and give vital recognition to the region's most successful and innovative businesses.

The overwhelming response in recent years' Awards further indicates the growing strength of business within our region and a testament to the vitality of our enterprise and the people that they reward.

Eligibility to Enter:

The 2009 Integral Energy Illawarra Business Awards are open to businesses that meet the following criteria:
* An Australian registered business, company or organisation. This includes partnerships, franchises, community organisations, registered charities, commonwealth & state government departments, agencies and local government bodies.
* The business is located in the Illawarra as defined by the five Local Government Areas of Kiama, Shellharbour, Shoalhaven, Wingecarribee and Wollongong. Judging will be based on the operations of the organization undertaken in the Region.
* The business has been operating for at least one year, with the exception of New Illawarra Business which must have been in operation or under new management for not more than two years at date of entry.
* The Judging Panel (or their business) are not eligible to enter the 2009 Integral Energy Illawarra Business Awards.

Submitting Your Entry

Entering the 2009 Integral Energy Illawarra Business Awards is easy. Simply fill out the Entry Form of your selected category you wish to enter. Businesses can enter a maximum of 3 categories (excluding Business Person & Young Business Person of the Year). Please note that separate applications need to be provided for each category entered with all relevant criteria being addressed.

Winners of Industry Categories will be eligible to be winner of the 2009 Integral Energy Illawarra Business of the Year.

Entries Close Monday,7th September 2009 (5:00pm)
Judging Commences Monday, 21st September 2009
Judging Concludes Friday, 23rd October 2009
Gala Awards Dinner Friday, 13th November 2009 (WIN Entertainment Centre)
