NOTICE: CALL FOR BOARD NOMINATIONS - ELECTIONS 2009

As provided for in the constitution of the Illawarra Business Chamber Limited (ABN: 54 081 424 437), an election of half of the elected directors is to take place at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Six (6) Directors retire at the end of their two-year term and are eligible for re-election and there is an additional vacancy following the recent resignation of a member elected Director.

Nominations are called for election to fill seven (7) positions on the IBC Board.

The nomination shall only be made on the attached nomination form (or copies thereof) and shall be completed with all details supplied in full as required to be accepted.

All nominations must be nominated and seconded by another Illawarra Business Chamber (IBC) member. To be eligible, proposed nominees and seconder must be financial members of IBC, with membership fees not being in arrears more than 90 days at the date of nomination and the AGM.
Voting for Directors will take place at the AGM. All votes must be made in person. Any proxies must attend and vote in person.

Nominations should be received by the Returning Officer, Mr John Butt at NSW Business Chamber Limited, 140 Arthur Street, North Sydney NSW 2000 or fax to 02 9922 1305 no later than 5.30pm on the 19th of October 2009 whether hand delivered or received by fax, unless sent by letter bearing a post mark stamp on or before the 19th of October 2009.
